I still have way too many Singapore & Bangkok posts that I need to write and it’s been so many months since this trip. I can tell you, life has been busy ever since. But let me share with you this fabulous hotel I stayed in, Oasia Hotel Novena, Singapore! Oasia Hotel Novena, Singapore is a four-star hotel with five-star service, located in Novena. The location is not very central, but it’s connected to the MRT so it’s still easy to get around the city from!
I stayed in a Club Room and absolutely loved it! The design wasn’t anything spectacular, but the room had everything you need and it was really spacious. Even the view was fabulous though it wasn’t such iconic Singapore. What I most loved about the room was the massive windows, comfortable bed and Vitamin Waters in the fridge for free (I mean, who doesn’t love free stuff haha)!
Another benefit which comes with Club Rooms is the access to The Living Room. The Living Room is a great lounge on the 22nd floor with cocktails and delicious finger food. You also get to enjoy a private outdoor swimming pool (pool in the below photos is for all guests) and a breakfast in the lounge. And talking about breakfast – YOU CAN GET EGGS COOKED IN 11 DIFFERENT WAYS. I was going to test it, but I was too confused on my last morning after a crazy Travel Massive the night before.
I also tested the regular outdoor pool of the hotel and it was just as fabulous as the ones in The Living Room. What a fabulous way to start a busy day of meetings and running around Singapore with a little moment in the sunshine by the pool. Pool side yoga before work became like a thing for me in Asia, thanks to Inna!
But let’s go back to that breakfast. Because I mean, who doesn’t love hotel breakfasts? Sometimes lounge breakfasts have so little variety that I rather enjoy the usual one. This time luckily, though, Oasia Hotel Novena, Singapore offers a fabulous lounge breakfast too with enough variety. While I didn’t try eggs cooked in 11 different ways, I did get a fabulous french toast, house brewed coffee and a poached egg! Yum-o!
I would definitely suggest considering staying in Oasia Hotel Novena on your trip to Singapore, if you don’t mind the location not being walking distance to most sights and attractions. MRT will get you to places!0
