I’m still missing Bangkok every day. I’ve said it a thousand times, that I am still amazed what a fabulous city Bangkok is. Seriously, I’d move there in a blink of an eye given the opportunity. And as many of you know, I’m also a big fan of finding quality hotels on good prices wherever I wander. On my TBEX trip to Bangkok a couple months back, I was invited to stay at Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn.
Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn is located, well, in Sathorn. The hotel is well located near the metro station, so it’s madly easy to get around the city from. Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn is a four-star hotel with five-star service. I’m still amazed by the staff and their fabulous level of professionalism – everyone from the cleaning lady to the marketing manager would greet us in all occasions and even call me as Miss Veera every chance they got. It’s these little things that make a difference and that make a hotel stay unforgettable.
The best thing about Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn is its fare pricing. It really is a luxury hotel with a great value for money and the hotel is really suitable for all kinds of travellers on all sorts of budgets. I stayed in the Superior Room, on the 27th floor. The rooms are nice and most with a great view – I just happened to be unfortunate with a construction site next door.
Most of the time at the hotel I spent getting work done by the pool – luckily the outdoors rooftop pool was one of the most amazing I’ve yet seen! I mean, let the above photos tell the story!
Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn offered one of the most delicious breakfast I’ve yet enjoyed at a hotel. Shame we were really busy with the travel blog conference that we didn’t get as much time as I would have needed to let the breakfast beast in me go crazy. But at least I got to eat my weight in papaya (literally almost).
