Olen viimeisen vuoden aikana oppinut syömään ja liikkumaan säännöllisesti, mutta silti sitä joskus tippuu kärryiltä muutosten ja stressin alla. Muuton ja koiranpennun hankkimisen jälkeen säännöllisyys on hieman kärsinyt ja olenkin joutunut ottamaan itseäni hieman niskasta kiinni.

Tässä viisi parasta vinkkiäni ottamaan ruokavalio ja liikunta takaisin haltuun:
.
1. Ole itsellesi armollinen. Jos olet syönyt vähän huonommin ja unohtanut liikkumisen, anna itsellesi siihen myös aikaa. Viikko tai kuukausikaan ei vielä pilaa elämäntapamuutosta. Itse annoin itselleni pari viikkoa ‘korjausaikaa’ ja tein sen pienin askelin vasta muuton jälkeen. Näin en vaadi itseltäni liikoja enkä joudu kokemaan epäonnistumisen tunnetta.

2. Vältä take-awaytä ja valmisruokia muistamalla hyvät ja helpot välipalat. Muuttokiireessä toimi nämä Arlan BCAA-proteiinipirtelöt myös aamupalan puutteessa! Kun pitää huolen riittävästä proteiinin saannista, niin ei pääse herkutteluhimot yllättämään yhtä helposti!
.
3. Aloita liikuntakin maltillisesti sen sijaan, että vaadit itseltäsi heti maanantaista alkaen 5 kertaa salitreeniä viikkoon. Itse aloitin pitkän treenitauon jälkeen kotitreenin @ritaniemiofficial kahvakuulatreenillä, jota pyrin tekemään muutaman kerran viikossa puoli tuntia kerrallaan.
.
4. Sovi itsesi kanssa joku sallittu herkku alkuun, koska kielletyt asiat houkuttelee aina kaikista eniten. Itse olen napannut joka päivä proteiinijäätelön tai pullan tällä viikolla! :D
.
5. Muistuta itseäsi siitä miksi liikut ja syöt hyvin. Terveys on se kaikista arvokkain asia mitä meillä on ja siitä kannattaa pitää huolta.❤️

It has been 4 years of operations between Helsinki & Doha for this fine airline!✈️🎉 I remember many years ago when I was still studying Airport Management in Hong Kong when our professor told us stories from Qatar and their new airport. Little did I know what great adventures I would get to experience through QA since they started here!
.
That 4 years ago I booked my first tickets in Business Class with the money I had made with my own business in its first months. I flew with Qatar Airways to Bangkok and onwards to Chiang Mai to live my digital nomad dream for a few months as a travel blogger (see the collection of photos from my digital nomad time in 2016).❤️
.
Since then these wings have taken me on unforgettable adventures to places like Vietnam, Bali, Qatar & Australia!
.
Let’s see where the next 4 years fly us! It’s a pleasure working together!

WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY❤️

Here are just a few things I still struggle with & I know that I’m not alone. The more openly we talk about mental health, the easier it becomes to say our struggles out loud. You are never weak for struggling. You are not a burden for the people around you. And there is no right way or right time to move on from something that hurts.
.
I used to be ashamed for how sensitive I am. I thought there was something wrong with me for falling apart so easily. I still feel ashamed sometimes for getting in trouble for living heart first and having it broken one time too many.
.
The past week has been mentally very difficult for me, I even messaged a friend that ’I am scared I might be depressed’. 2020 changed my life, for some better things but it also took away all that used to bring me joy & purpose. But we’ll get through this, one step a time.❤️
